Barr-Nunn Victorious on the Track
Granger, IA – July 1, 2008 – Barr-Nunn Transportation, a nation-wide leader in the industry, is proud to partner with Mac Hill Motorsports to sponsor rookie driver Mikey Kile.
On Saturday, June 28th, Kile was victorious at the USAR Pro-Cup series Lucas Oil 200 on the Salem Speedway in Salem, IN. It was Kile’s, VisViva Energy Drink, and Mac Hill Motorsports’ first Pro-Cup victory.
“It’s overwhelming; it hasn’t really sunk in yet,” said Kile, who thanked Barr-Nunn in his victory speech.
Kile won the race in exciting fashion, as well. Starting out in 6th place, he charged ahead to 2nd, and on the very last lap overtook the leader for the win.
“No one expected a rookie to win,” he said.
The victory puts Kile on course to win the Rookie of the Year award, and is a shining moment in what will surely be many for Kile, Mac Hill Motorsports, VisViva Energy Drink, and Barr-Nunn Transportation.
