A.J. Frank Scores Best Finish of Year at Lake Erie

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 31, 2007, Mooresville, N.C. - A.J. Frank and the Camping World/The Works/Mac Hill Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlo No. 56n team scored its best finish of the season so far, finishing second in the July 28 BFGoodrich.com 250 USAR Hooters Pro Cup Sears Auto Center Northern Division event at Lake Erie (Pa.) Speedway.

With new crew chief Ron Hearidge, Frank put the car 10th on the grid in qualifying. Then with new spotter Roman Pemberton, utilizing his NASCAR experience as he guided his driver during the race, Frank represented the Clean Team well with a runner-up finish.

“We had our best finish of the season,” Frank said after the performance, which puts the team fifth in points. “I’d like to thank Dange (Hanniford) and the rest of the team for a great job this weekend. My new spotter, Roman Pemberton, did an exceptional job during the race. I had to get up on the wheel to bring the car home in second place, but it was a great weekend for us and we brought the car home in one piece.”
