Barr-Nunn Driver & Son Bond at the Track
Granger, IA – June 4, 2008 – Barr-Nunn Transportation, a nation-wide leader in the industry, is proud to show appreciation for the hard work their drivers put forth. Providing their drivers with quality time to spend with family is just a bonus.
Through their sponsorship of Mac Hill Motorsports, Barr-Nunn gave driver Donald Davey pit and garage passes to the USAR Pro Cup Sears Auto Center 150 on May 31st in West Allis, WI. Davey, who has attended races before, brought his son Robert and his best friend Doug along for the ride.
“The start of the race – with the cars lined up, the engines roaring, the crowd going wild – was great, but the best part of the day was the look of excitement on my son’s face,” Davey said.
On top of witnessing the race, the trio got to meet a few drivers and pit crew members, and took many pictures. Donald appreciated the family atmosphere and how friendly everybody was.
“We’d love to go to another race. Without a doubt,” he said.
